STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE PROVISION OF INDIRECT TELECOMMUNICATIONS
SERVICES
1. Connection & Service.
1. Non-Geographical telephone Service. TeleGo Ltd trading as Robotelecom supplies Non-Geographical telephone numbers and related indirect
telecommunication services via various licensed public telecommunications
Network Operators to deliver the Services to the user of the non-geographical
number.
1.1 Connection (routing) will take place once the initial connection/admin fee
has been received by us in cleared funds. If paying by credit/debit card,
connection will take place within 2 working hours.
1.2 Routing can only be to a number provided by British Telecom or other public
carrier (e.g. Cable & Wireless), within the UK. The landline number must start
01 or 02.
1.3 Routing will generally occur within 1-3 working hours of Robotelecom being
given an instruction to connect and details of the landline to which the
connection is to be made. If Advanced Options have been ordered, routing may
take up-to 7 working days. You will be informed of this at the time of ordering.
Robotelecom will not be responsible for any delays in connection by the Network
Operators company to whose equipment the number is being connected, or from whom
the number has been sourced. No advertising/promotions/signs or stationery
changes should take place until the NGN number allocation has been confirmed and
actual connection made.
2. Charges
2.1 Setup fees as published on our website www.robotelecom.co.uk. All 0845
numbers are billed at £69.00+VAT service charge after the 1st free 2 months
period. Advanced services such as Customer Controlled Routing, Auto-Rerouting,
Smart Call, Call Planner and Voicemail are charged annually as per our published
tariff. Service charges are usually billed 14 days prior to the due date.
3. 0845 Incoming Call Charges
3.1 We do not charge for incoming calls on our 0845 service.
4. Redirection
4.1 In the event that you wish your number to be redirected so that it
terminates to a different geographic number, a minimum charge of £39+vat
applies. Normally, redirection occurs as a result of moving to a different
exchange area.
5. Loss of Service
5. Robotelecom accepts no responsibility for loss of service arising from
matters outside its control.
5.2 In the unlikely event where a carrier or supplying telecom company goes into
liquidation (or otherwise loses its number range) connection fees, associated
with memorable numbers, will not be refundable in these circumstances nor will Robotelecom be responsible for any indirect losses, such as advertising costs
using a defunct number.
5.3 If you do experience any problems with service Robotelecom will use its best
and endeavours to resolve them. You should report any such problems by calling
Customer Services on 0844 500 5717 or emailing support@robotelecom.co.uk.
6. Ownership & Transfer of Numbers
6.1 Ultimate ownership of all telephone numbers rests with the British
government and not with the end user or supplying telephone company. You do
however enjoy full use of your number(s) so long as the appropriate connection
fee and any applicable service charges are paid and that the number(s) are not
being used for illegal purposes.
6.2 You may, if you wish, sell or transfer usage rights to your numbers.
Transfers may not be made to any person or organisation whose purpose in
acquiring the number is to use it in the carrying out of illegal/immoral
activities. All transfers are subject to the approval of Robotelecom.
7. Damages
7.1 Any claim for damages, for whatever reason, shall be limited to such sum(s)
as may have been paid to Robotelecom by the complaining party. Neither
Robotelecom, nor the network carrier shall be liable for consequential losses
arising through failure in service, failure to provide service, or any cause
whatsoever.
8. Governing Law
8.1 This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with English
law.
9. 0845 Service Charges
9.1 From April 2010, Any 0845 numbers that were previously free of service
charges will be subject to our standard annual service charge of £69+VAT per
year per number. This is in-line with industry changes due to the reduced cost
to dial 0845 numbers from landlines.
10. Porting to other carriers
10.1 We require 12 months notice to release any non-geographic number to another
carrier. If you wish to port without 12 months notice, a porting fee of £200+VAT
applies from March 06 onwards.
11. Cancellations of service
11.1 If the customer wishes to cancel the 0845 number service chargeable after
the 1st 2 months free at £69+vat for a period of 12 months service after the
initial free period expires, we require notice in writing not less than 30 days
prior to the chargeable period beginning. If no written notice is received
within this period we reserve the right to bill and debit card details on file
for the next 12 months service. 30 days notice prior to the expiry is also
required to cancel the service for subsequent years service. No refunds of
service charges will be paid once payment has been received for 12 months
service.
